Set in 1970 Luo Nyanza, Kenya, Production designer Nancy Aluoch Oluoch captures this period piece to a tee. The visuals instantly takes you to that time and the culture and community is visually captured in the design choices. Being her first period piece, there is pressure to deliver but with a dedicated team, Nancy wins the 2024 Kalasha for Best Production designer for the film.  Director MD Neely from Missouri, USA, ensures the story of Dennis Okoth is captured in the most authentic way.
